Each year, The Westgate School receives funds from the government to support some students who might find themselves in financial hardship. Consequently, some students may be eligible for the 16-19 Bursary Fund. The 16-19 Bursary Fund is a scheme made available from the government through its funding body – the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) – for 16–19-year-olds to aid students for whom access to, or completion of, education is inhibited by financial constraints or barriers.
