Westgate 60th Anniversary Fundraising

Your change can make a difference

The Westgate School has always prided itself on the resources and extracurricular activities that are provided for the students.  In order to continue doing this in upcoming years, we are using the celebration of school’s 60th anniversary to fundraise.

Our target is to raise £10,000

Why are we fundraising?

  • New sensory garden for students to enjoy.

  • Continued Enrichment activities e.g. special effects make-up, bake-off, first-aid courses, theatre trips, one-to-one careers advice.

  • Enhancing our fitness suite for students.

  • Music equipment.

  • Purchasing two specialist wheelchairs for all pupils to compete in competitions such as wheelchair basketball.

  • To continue hosting Sports Day at TVAC.

How will we reach our target?

Encourage your child to get involved with lots of exciting activities this term…

  • Sponsor our team completing the 3 peaks challenge in 24 hours.

  • Come and watch Westgate’s Got Talent.

  • Bring in loose change for our Tutor challenge –who will fill their jar with the most ££££?

  • Bake sale –will your child buy you a cupcake?

  • Enter our sporting competitions between year groups, staff and external companies.

  • Come and watch the  World Cup matches on our big screen.

  • Get sporty for mufti-day.

  • Buy snacks and ice-creams at Sports Day from the Sixth Formers.

  • Get your face painted at Sports Day in your team colours.
