Westgate Year 9 French Students hold a morning of French activities for Year 2 Students at Cippenham Infant School.
On Friday 27th of May, twenty Year 9 French students visited Cippenham Infant School to run a French Morning. Throughout the morning the Year 2 pupils completed a carousel of French activities which were run by our Year 9 students. Activities included a visit to a French Café, games such as Jacques a dit (Simon says) and Pass the Parcel and a cultural session discussing French Monuments. Great fun was had by all students and all teachers involved.
Student’s Perspective:
“It was fun! I think the children really learnt a lot and it is definitely something I think is good for us students as well as the younger pupils” - Lara Parmley H14TDP
“When I attended Cippenham Infant School I really enjoyed teaching the children French. It helped me improve my French as well as their French! It was a privilege to be part of it” - James Goodridge P1GW
