Welcome to Mathematics Options Taster Session

Did you know?

Have you ever heard that the number 9 is considered to be a "magic" number? Here is why: if you multiply a number by 9 and add all the digits of the new number together, the sum will always add up to 9. For example:

8 x 9 = 72

7 + 2 = 9

4 x 9 = 36

3 + 6 = 9

See? It truly is magical. Try it out. Every single combination will always lead you back to 9!

We hope you enjoy the taster session!

Foundation Tier vs. Higher Tier

The new Foundation covers grades 1 to 5, which means that there’s a higher grade achievable than with the previous Foundation tier (where grade C was the maximum).

On the new Higher tier, questions will be set from grade 4 to grade 9.

The overlap between the two tiers is now at grades 4 and 5, which is a higher level than in the past.
