School Admissions & Appeals
All applications for admissions from Year 6 to Year 7 to The Westgate School should be made to Slough Borough Council via the electronic Common Application Form (CAF).
For all other admissions and in-year transfers, please contact Slough Borough Council. The Westgate School do not allocate school places.

Admission appeals for The Westgate School are handled independently of the school.
1st March National Offer Day
12 May 2023 Deadline for lodging your appeal and uploading evidence using the on-line appeal form (link below).
At least 14 school days prior to the hearing you will receive the time and date of your hearing via email to the address you put on your form. Please check your junk folder so that this is not missed. You will receive a copy of the paperwork you have submitted for your appeal, a copy of the school's case and the names of the panel members shortly after this. Please note that all appeal hearings will take place via Zoom Conferencing.
June - July 2023 Stage One and Stage Two hearings to be held (subject to the availability of panel members
You will receive an email setting out the decision made by the Independent Appeal Panel, within 7 calendar days of the last hearing. A detailed letter will follow thereafter.
