Learning Support Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Learning Support Assistant to join a highly successful team in an Outstanding School.  We currently offer differing levels of learning support for over 100 students, aged 11-18, within a mainstream learning environment.

Inclusion is our primary goal and we ensure that all our students, even those with physical disabilities, are enabled to access the full curriculum, learning environment and extra-curricular activities, regardless of their individual needs.

Full training is available covering all aspects of the job, including personal care, and staff are fully supported to progress if they would like to.

8.45am to 3.15pm  Monday to Friday (30 hrs)   Term-time + 2 INSET days

Actual salary £13,480 per annum  Level 3  starting point 5

 

Reading & Literacy Coordinator

Required as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint an ideal candidate who will continue to support our students with reading using the Accelerated Reader Program and implementing intervention groups across the whole school to ensure that students achieve and surpass their expected reading and literacy level.

The ideal candidate will have the knowledge of Department of Education guidelines relating to Literacy and also have the responsibility to ensure that budgets are used effectively.

Experience is desirable but training will be provided.

8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Thursday 8.30am-3pm Friday (32 hrs)  Term time + 3 INSET days

Actual salary £16,821 per annum
