LRC Assistant

To start as soon as possible

Term time only – 38 weeks

20 or 30 hours per week

Actual Salary either £8,626 or £12,609 per annum

We have a vacancy for a flexible and well-organised team player to work in our Learning Resource Centre.  You will support the LRC Manager in all aspects of running the department.  You will also assist with supervising students during their break and lunch times, support the implementation of reading lessons and help with training and supervising our student librarians.

The ideal candidate would need to have good IT skills and be a team player but be able to prioritise their own workload. They must be proactive in helping students and in carrying out administrative tasks to assist in the smooth running of the department.

Any previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous but not essential.

Learning Support Assistant (x2)

To start as soon as possible

8.45 to 3.15  Monday to Friday (30 hrs)

Term-time + 2 INSET days

Actual salary £13,480 per annum.  Level 3  

We have an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Learning Support Assistant to join a highly successful team in an Outstanding School.  We currently offer differing levels of learning support for over 100 students, aged 11-18, within a mainstream learning environment.

Inclusion is our primary goal and we ensure that all our students, even those with physical disabilities, are enabled to access the full curriculum, learning environment and extra-curricular activities, regardless of their individual needs.

Full training is available covering all aspects of the job, including personal care and staff are fully supported to progress if they would like to.
