Favourite Westgate Memory: "One of my favourite memories from Westgate was the incredible support from my P.E. teachers, which ignited my love for extracurricular sports. Their constant engagement helped our girls team win the rounders tournament and boosted my confidence through netball which helped me gain new skills and abilities. The fun dance trips they organised lifted our spirits and led me to join a softball team and various dance schools later on in my life."

Favourite Westgate Memory: "I’ll never forget going on an outdoor adventure trip to Italy in Year 9 with Mr Ward and watching him fall out our raft into the freezing cold river. Also had the opportunity of being appointed Head Boy in Year 13 and organising the very first Sixth Form Prom!"

Favourite Westgate Memory: "I enjoyed the variety of sports taught as part of the PE curriculum as well as the after-school tournaments and games we were entered into such as football and netball."

Important Moments: "We had a careers day at school where we reviewed the pros and cons of Apprenticeships vs University. Those days really solidified my decision in going into an accounting apprenticeship and further motivated me to become qualified."

Favourite Westgate Memory: "When I became vice chair of a national campaign on knife crime; teachers and students were kind and supported my campaigns advocating for young people, contributed to my research through voting and sharing the survey and attended workshops. Also hot-chcolate and marshmallows by the campfire at the end of the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh. Celebrating netball and rounders team wins."

Important Moments: "The careers team were brilliant, organised events with professionals, gave us 1-1 advice and helped everyone apply for their chosen pathways. I learnt to step out of my comfort zone and volunteer for a cause I was passionate about. Currently, I do projects encouraging the new cohorts of Westgate students to reach for their dreams."
