School Closure Years 7-10 (School Demolition)

Reminder: School Demolition 23rd - 27th March 2026

The demolition and rebuild programme has to be dictated by the GCSE exams series. Therefore, to avoid starting demolition in the summer holidays and to ensure that the demolition phase will be completed by 7th May, we have built in a cushion of one extra week by going online for the last week of term (23rd – 27th March). If the demolition wasn’t complete by 7th May, work would need to be paused and recommenced after the exam period which would in turn delay the start of the rebuild.

During this week, Years 7-10 will be online learning from home, whist years 11,12 & 13 will be onsite as normal. We have reallocated classrooms for that week that are far beyond the exclusion zone.
