Banned Books Week 2025

You may be surprised by some of the books behind our cordoned off display case... 'Banned Books Week' is all about celebrating the freedom to read, and the powerful stories that some have tried to silence.

Since 1982, this movement has brought together readers, writers, educators, and book lovers to stand up for the right to explore every idea, every voice and every story.

This is always a week that intrigues our students and a provokes discussions around censorship.
