Exploring Macbeth through Creative Projects
Our Year 11 GCSE students have been diving into the world of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, exploring themes of ambition, power, fate and more. They’ve been sharpening their skills in synthesising key information, sequencing narratives, and creating insightful summaries. By analysing Macbeth’s tragic choices and their consequences, students are gaining a deeper understanding of how unchecked ambition and moral compromise can lead to downfall.
Through discussions and creative projects, they're discovering how timeless lessons from classic fiction can help us navigate modern challenges and avoid making similar mistakes in our own lives.
