Personal Development Day: Mental & Physical Wellbeing
Our students participated in a personal development drop down day dedicated to mental and physical health. The day offered a variety of engaging workshops designed to help students build resilience, develop healthy habits, and take care of their wellbeing.
Students explored topics such as physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, mental wellbeing, self-esteem, and managing stress, while also learning about important health issues like dental hygiene, vaping awareness, and making safe choices. Highlights included a session on the importance of staying fit led by a former student, interactive theatre exploring the effects of peer pressure, and sessions focused on preparing for life beyond school, such as independent living and university wellbeing.
The day provided students with practical tools, guidance, and opportunities to reflect on their wellbeing, encouraging them to make positive choices for both their mental and physical health.
