Q&A with Dancer Adam Galbraith

We were delighted to welcome Adam Galbraith, a talented dancer from the renowned New Adventures dance company, into school recently. This was an incredibly valuable experience for our students, offering them a unique insight into the professional dance world.

Adam spoke openly about his journey into the industry, sharing both the challenges and rewards of pursuing a career in dance. He provided thoughtful advice on how to sustain a long and successful career in such a demanding field.

A particular highlight of the session was the opportunity for students to take part in a Q&A with Adam. As they are currently studying Romeo and Juliet as part of their coursework, students asked a range of insightful questions about performance, interpretation, and storytelling through movement... and what an enlightening insight into the industry and a behind the scenes look it was with Tybalt himself!

Adam gave a wonderful insight into what it is like to perform in Romeo and Juliet. He explained the creative process, from initial rehearsals and character development to refining movement material and working closely with choreographers to ensure the narrative is clear and engaging for an audience.
