Rocking Success: The Nuggets Record 'Save Your Tears' at Readipop Studios!

Our resident band 'The Nuggets,' coached by our amazing guitar teacher Jake Rommer, had an incredible day recording their rendition of 'Save Your Tears.' They performed this winning song at the Battle of the Bands competition hosted by Slough Music Service at Upton Court Grammar School earlier this year. Competing against bands from schools across Slough, they not only took home the win but also earned a recording session at Readipop studios!

This is what our Nuggets had to say:
"It was so cool to experiment with all the gadgets and techniques that were used to make our song sound even better! It was the first time for all of the band to have the opportunity to record in a real studio. We all learnt how every song is constructed behind the scenes and had so much fun doing so!

As some of the band is taking or considering taking GCSE music and want to create songs in the future; going to Readipop has given us all an in depth understanding and a massive amount of inspiration to start our music career early. We had an amazing time and we are all thankful for the amazing opportunity we had in BATTLE OF THE BANDS to win this incredible prize. Thank you Readipop!!"
