'Sangat and the Self' Exhibition
On our recent Personal Development Day, Year 12 students visited the 'Sangat and the Self' exhibition at Without Shape Without Form, located on the Bath Road in Slough.
Without Shape Without Form is a collaborative space created by artists and thinkers whose work is rooted in Sikh philosophy, while highlighting universal ideas shared across cultures and religions. Their aim is to present these teachings in an inclusive, accessible way for all visitors.
During the visit, our students engaged with key concepts such as Sangat - the importance of community, equality and working together, and Simran - a mindful practice that helps quiet the mind and cultivate presence. These themes were brought to life through interactive artwork and creative activities, giving students the opportunity to explore the ideas both intellectually and experientially.
