Shutter Speed - Painting with Light

Our photography students have been exploring the creative possibilities of shutter speed.

One evening, students returned to school after dark to experiment with light drawing; a technique that involves using slow shutter speeds to capture motion. While some students adjusted the camera settings to take long-exposure shots, others used torches and different light sources to draw in the air.

The result was a series of striking images featuring trails of light.
