Slough Chess Showdown

Our Chess Club members travelled to St Joseph's Catholic High School to take part in the 2025 Slough Schools Chess Competition.

Our players faced off with students from St Josephs, Slough and Eton, and Herschel Grammar School.

Their games were sometimes intense and down to the final few seconds on their timers but our students played well and took on new challengers with confidence and good sportsmanship.

Herschel and St Joseph's claimed the top spots in the competition this year but we look forward to the opportunity for a rematch in 2026!
