🎭GCSE Drama Night at Windsor Theatre Royal🎟️

Y10 and 11 GCSE Drama students visited Windsor Theatre Royal for an evening performance of Sleuth by Anthony Shaffer. They were reviewing and analysing a live performance, to prepare for their GCSE Drama written exam.

They met outside the theatre, and everyone was excited to see the show. They made their way to our excellent seats in the Royal Circle and settled down, ready to be entertained- and make notes, in the dark!

The whole 2 hour performance was brought by only 2 actors, Todd Boyce (Coronation Street) and Neil Mc Dermott (Eastenders) and the students were totally engaged throughout. They especially enjoyed the comedy moments and the huge explosion, with drifting smoke.

Both Y10 and Y11 commented that it was a brilliant production and that they had thoroughly enjoyed it (and made pages of notes!)

As they left, Ms Slater was stopped by members of the public who praised the immaculate behaviour of the group and she was also thanked by the ushers, who said the students had been ‘good as gold’.
