The Globe Players - Jekyll and Hyde Performance

On Friday 9th June, Year 10 were treated to a performance of Jekyll and Hyde by a group called The Globe Players. Over a number of years we have built up a relationship with this group and they now regularly come in to perform GCSE set texts. Sitting in the hall for an hour on a Friday afternoon is never an easy task, least of all in the recent heat we've been experiencing. Despite this, Year 10 did themselves incredibly proud throughout by listening and getting absorbed in the show.

Additional credit goes to Alfie, Harrison, Tommy, Oliver and Maizie for taking on the role of newspaper sellers, adding an extra dimension to the show.

Who knows, maybe we'll see them on the stage in years to come!

Student feedback from the performance was incredibly positive. They spoke of how much they enjoyed the show and how it helped them to understand elements of the book they had previously found more challenging.

The Globe Players themselves said: "They were a great audience and we look forward to coming again."

All in all, the show was a massive success!
