District Athletics 2023!

Our school recently embarked on an exhilarating trip to the District Athletics Event, showcasing the exceptional talents of some of our top performers in sports. A total of 57 of our dedicated students participated in the District Athletics Competition, held in Slough just before the May Half Term. The event witnessed intense competition amongst various schools, and our school managed to secure an outstanding 3rd place overall, filling us with immense pride.
The dedication and hard work of our students paid off remarkably well, with 14 achieving 1st place in their respective events.
We commend each and every participant for their commitment and determination, as they competed fiercely in their chosen events. Incredibly, the triumphs did not end there. Four of our exceptional athletes were scouted and selected to represent the entirety of Slough in the 'Under 13's Berkshire Athletics Competition'. This recognition of their talent is a testament to their exceptional abilities. Well done to Brooke T, Lola W-L, Muhammad B and Arjan B in year 7 for being selected!
We, as a school, applaud the efforts and achievements of all our students who participated in the District Athletics event. Their dedication, sportsmanship, and extraordinary performances have made us all proud.
