One of our brilliant Sixth Form students Amirah has just made it onto the local news! She's been featured in the 'Slough and Slough Bucks Observer' for her incredible opportunity to become the CEO of a global children's charity when she attended the Girls Takeover event with Plan International UK on Tuesday 3rd October.

Girls Takeover is an annual programme run by Plan International UK with corporations, politicians, and influential people each year in celebration of the potential of girls for International Day of the Girl.
During the takeover day with Plan International UK, Amirah ‘took over’ the role of their CEO Rose Caldwell, for the day and met with several senior leaders from Plan UK, learnt about how they campaign with young people, chaired the all-staff meeting, and learnt leadership skills for her future.
Together, we celebrate our students' remarkable achievements and the bright futures that lie ahead.
