We are very much looking forward to the Bushcraft trip on Thursday 12th - Friday 13th July 2018.
This residential will give students the chance to enjoy two action packed days, learning in an unfamiliar and exciting environment, as well as spending the night sleeping out in the wild. The course will alternate between group lectures and hands-on activities, giving students the chance to put each new skill into immediate practice.
Students will be split into tribes of between ten and fifteen and assigned a group leader, allowing us to provide both a high duty of care and a concentrated focus of teaching. Each activity on this course demands team work, and these small groups ensure that every student contributes to the collaborative effort. Tent preferences must be returned to Miss K O’Neill in the music office by Monday 11th June, 3pm.
Please take time to look at the Powerpoint below which will tell you everything you need to know and what to prepare for the trip.
