On Friday 29th June, 14 Year 7 students visited the Mars Head Office in Slough to experience what life is like working for Mars.
Students were chosen to attend this exciting trip due to their success in the ‘Creativity’ entry and exit days. During the big idea, ‘Creativity’, each learning pod was given £5 to invest in a business idea and the results were fantastic.
The trip allowed students to see what Mars does and to explore its ethos. They also investigated how Mars use marketing to be a successful world wide business. Students were able to experience a day in the life of an employee of Mars, including viewing the offices and discussing ideas and experiences in the board rooms.
A big thank you to Clare Moulder from Mars who gave the students a fantastic opportunity.
