The Westgate went back in time to the Spanish Wild West

Students in Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 enjoyed an exciting play in Spanish about the Wild West.

The Westgate School hosted a Spanish Play with native Spanish actors who came to bring our students an exciting and hilarious play. Approximately one hundred students from Year 9, 10 and 11 enjoyed a play for one hour and… it was completely in Spanish! It was a big challenge for our students but they achieved it successfully.

“I found the play really funny and engaging! I really enjoyed watching it.” -  Isha, Y11.

“It was extremely funny and entertaining.” - Zaafira, Y11.

"The Spanish Play really allows our students to see face to face the Spanish culture with real native Spanish speakers. It enables students to practise their listening and translation skills as well as realising that whatever they learn in their lessons it will be useful in their real life." Sergio Pérez – Acting Head of MFL.
